Need a hand with Grant Current or the Grant Current Assistant browser extension? We are glad to help. This page tells you how to reach us and answers the questions we hear most.

The best way to reach us is by email. Write to privacy@grantcurrent.org and a real person will get back to you. We usually reply within two business days.

To help us help you quickly, please include:

• your organization’s name;
• what you were trying to do when the problem happened;
• the exact wording of any error message you saw, and the web address of the page you were on; and
• the browser you are using (for example Chrome or Edge).

The browser extension

Grant Current Assistant fills an approved grant application onto a funder’s online form, in your own browser, and then gets out of the way. You stay in control: you sign in to the funder’s portal yourself, you review every answer, you attach your files, and you click Submit.

• It never signs in for you and never clicks Submit. A person always sends the application. The extension only fills fields you have already approved.
• It needs a Grant Current account. The extension is a companion to the Grant Current service and uses your own dashboard sign-in to fetch the answers you approved. If you do not have an account yet, email privacy@grantcurrent.org and we will get you set up.
• To use it, open an approved application in your dashboard and click “Fill with extension”. The funder’s page opens in a new tab and fills itself. Review it, add any required documents, and submit.
• If you see “Grant Current was just updated. Reload this page”, the extension was upgraded while the tab was open. Reload the funder’s page and try the fill again. Nothing is lost.
• If a fill does nothing on a portal, make sure you are signed in to that portal and on the application page itself, then click the extension’s “Fill this page” button. Some sign-in-walled portals need that one manual click.

Account and sign-in

Grant Current is a managed service. If you cannot sign in, have forgotten how to get in, or need another person on your team added, email privacy@grantcurrent.org and we will sort it out. We never ask for your funder-portal passwords, and you should never share them with us.
